I’ve battled the Reapers of Chaos before–and survived. But this time I have a Bad, Bad Feeling it’s going to be a fight to the death … most likely mine.
Yeah, I’ve got my psychometry magic, my talking sword, Vic–and even the most dangerous Spartan on campus at my side, in Logan freaking Quinn, but I’m no match for Loki, the evil Norse god of chaos. I may be Nike’s Champion, but at heart, I’m still just Gwen Frost, that weird Gypsy girl everyone at school loves to gossip about.
Then someone I love is put in more danger than ever before, and something inside me snaps. This time, Loki and his Reapers are going down for good … or I am.
I feel like all my favorite series are ending this year and it’s slowly cracking my heart, with happy beams shining through of course. Killer Frost didn’t disappoint me in the slightly and I couldn’t be more stoked with how the end of the series played out.
Jennifer Estep couldn’t have made me happier with how all of our characters ended up. Daphne, Carson, Nyx, Oliver, Alexei, Nickamedes, and the whole gang is one I won’t leave lightly because I heart them all so much. I also absolutely adore Gwen and Logan and couldn’t love them more. Everything they’ve been through has boiled down to this final battle and I just want to squeeze them both.
This series coming to an end is of course so bittersweet. It’s been such a long journey with the whole Mythos gang and it’s epic battles, hard aches, and of course loving moments. I don’t want to let it go but alas with all good series, at some point you must and I’m happy to say that I loved this series and it’s ending and couldn’t be happier.
