Thoughts: Real Men Don’t Break Hearts is one of those sweet happily ever after romance books. About how your life can take some major turns and finding love in a place you would never expect to find it. How can you not love a book like that?
I love how Nate is that bad boy who finally grew up. The boy who you though would never make anything of himself or change, yet he did. And, he continues to get even better… Thanks to Allie. Allie, on the other hand, has dealt with so many downs in her life. She believed she was in love and getting married but instead got humiliated. Then her dreams had to be put on hold because of her grandmother’s heart problems. So when Nate finally enters her life, I was happy to see her finally pick her self up.
Coleen’s writing is fantastic and she uses great descriptions. For example, my favorite was “simmering brandy eyes”. UNF! That just makes me want to fall into his eyes and drink them up! Overall, I enjoyed this Bliss book. I liked that it was a little hotter than most of the bliss line… yet it wasn’t brazen. I thought it was done well. Overall great story line with a lovely romance.
