Breaking Waves by: Danielle Sibarium

Synopsis: From the moment they met, Jenna knew Reece would break her heart, but she never dreamed it would happen like this. Jenna is left shattered and broken. When life becomes too painful to deal with and she feels completely alone, there’s only one person to help her pick up the pieces and move on. The one person she doesn’t want to turn to. The one person she promised to stay away from. Tyler.

Can Jenna put aside everything she knows about him and let Tyler help heal her broken heart?

Thoughts: If you read the synopsis you already know that if you love Reece, your heart will some how be broken. The first chapters are definitely heartbreaking. The story as a whole is a fun and bittersweet and then the end basically knocks you on your butt. And yet, I still could not put it down until I read those final bittersweet pages.

This is definitely Tyler’s book. You meet him a little in book one, and may have hated him, but in Breaking Waves you get to know him a lot more. I definitely did not hate him in book one, and actually wanted to know more about him. Like I said… I’m drawn to these dark, tormented boys. And, I did find myself falling for him in this book. I mean Tyler is sexy and has green eyes. I have a huge green eye weakness! See, I don’t blame Jenna at all for gravitating towards him. He’s there for her, he helps her, and he actually cares for her back. Yet on the other side I’ve held out hope that we’ll see Reece again and in book one he completely had my heart. I do not envy Jenna if she’ll have to choose, not at all. Though I must admit, after much debating going on in my head… I lean towards Reece.

So the ending Jenna has a huge revelation and it was basically my “Oh ****” moment. I was happy and yet at the same time nervous. Jenna is thrown through SO many emotions in Breaking Waves and she discovers to much more of the world around her. More and more secrets keep building and I can’t wait to find finally have them all revealed! The ending was one that had me literally begging Danielle for book three… I cannot wait!
