Just kidding, I have always got words. The Bones of Benevolence is a dark, harsh, magical, and emotionally damaging romantasy. Every little bit I wanted, I got from this second book. I was anxiously awaiting for this sequel after the bombshell ending of TSoS, and I could not be happier with the turn of events in TBoB.
Petra is back in all her strength and glory. She now knows who she is and unleashes every piece of strength she can. Now, with our men… Cal & Miles. Without spoiling anything they are both back full storm in this book and I adore each of them for very different reasons. With Miles though, man my heart breaks for him yet I also could not get enough of him. With the snippets of his life we got, I cannot wait for his novella!
Also, the world that Lauren introduced us to in TSoS just grows tenfold in TBoB. We are introduced to new places, new characters, and new lore that’s just so well crafted.
I cannot recommend this series enough. The journey Petra & co. go through is so turbulent yet you root for them every step of the way. Although the ending is one big bombshell (in more ways than one), you’re still left with some questions and needing to know what happens next. And believe me, I cannot WAIT to know what happens next. If you haven’t please go pick up this series!
