Turns out, my brother has very strong opinions on the idea of me dating his best friend and is dead set against it. According to him, Cooper is everything I should stay away from: flirtatious, adventurous, non-committal, and freaking hot. (I added that last part because I feel like you need the whole picture.) My brother is right, though. I should stay away from Cooper James and his pretty blue eyes. He’s the opposite of what I need right now.
Nah—Who am I kidding? I’m going for him.
The Off Limits Rule is a laugh-out-loud, closed-door romance with sparkling chemistry that flies off the page.
Such an adorable feel-good romcom. I blew through this book and it absolutely gave me all the happy feels.
I have to say I LOVE how Sarah Adams decided not to make either of our main characters “the villain”. Not all couples make mistakes, or cheat, or have crazy mixed up thoughts holding them back and I love that Sarah decided to showcase that. I also love how healthy Cooper and Lucy’s relationship is. Also, points for being a mom before marriage. I related to Lucy so hard in this book and I think that’s what made me love her so much.
Also a shout out to Drew and Levi… perfect parts to this story. Overall a wonderful feel-good book to add to your TBR!
