Hidden Wings is an adorable middle grades story that shows you do not have to fit in to be happy.
The story follows Rain, who is a soul set on choosing a “form” for Earth that is very uncommon. She comes across animals who are very unforgiving yet finds a way to stay true to herself. I love her story and how she consistently tries to press on regardless of tough times.
Hidden Wings is a very inspiring read for young readers. The story is written at a great level for young readers and it proves that you should choose to be and look however makes you happy.
Born and raised in Brewster, New York, Sara Larca discovered her passion for writing while doing the things she loves most: taking photographs and traveling the world. Her first book, Hidden Wings, is inspired by events in the lives of close friends, as well as personal experience. It was her desire to spread a message of hope and understanding, coupled with her special connection to elephants, that helped this story and its characters come to life. In her free time, she enjoys baking, drawing, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
