Hi lovelies,
This post is so far overdue that it is ridiculous, and for that I apologize. I also apologize for the bloggers, authors, and friends that I have neglected these past months. Student teaching apparently hit a lot harder on my book life than I thought it would. I intended to try to keep up with my blog during student teaching, and if I could not then to jump right back into it in January…but as we all see that unfortunately did not happen.
Lately, I just cannot seem to get into any book I read. I have started about four or five different ones and get about a quarter or half the way through and cannot finish. I’m not sure if it’s the book or the fact that my schedule has continued to stay busy even after student teaching. I have been working much more and also doing much more fun outings than I have in the past…which takes up a good chunk of my time. And honestly, I’m not disappointed in my “new” life…I am actually quite happier than I have been in a long time.
Alas, I still love reading…I still always think about books and look at the updates from the book world, I just have not been an active participant lately. I am still trying and still reading though. Hopefully, I will fall back into this world hardcore like I was before with the reviews and teasers and tours and everything. We will just have to wait and see what the future brings.
