Hollywood surgeon Colt Travers needs a new receptionist ASAP. When the adorable—and completely broke—Selena Harris comes in needing stitches, he takes a risk and hires her on the spot. She can pay off her bill, and he won’t have to answer the phone anymore. They’re opposites in every way, and she’s exactly what he doesn’t want in a woman—impulsive, carefree, and amusing. He’s trying to resist her, but the longer she’s around, the further he sinks into temptation.
Selena never meant to get herself in such deep financial straits. LA has way too much temptation, from high-end shopping to gorgeous men, and now her life is in chaos. But Colt is different—responsible and noble—and although their chemistry is off the charts, he’s keeping her at arm’s length. She’s determined to win his trust–and his heart–but will the secrets she’s desperately trying to hide ruin their chance for a big Hollywood happy ending?

With beautiful Pacific Ocean views, the life styles of the rich and famous, and a sexy doctor to go along with it this book became something I easily enjoyed. Plus as horrible as the situation in the beginning of the book was, it was actually comical too and that kind of mix always pulls me right in.
I’m almost positive we’ve all been in situations like Selena where life is just dealing you a hand that you’ve run too far with and unfortunately have to dig your way out of it. I so admire her for not having a melt down at all, because I honestly would have her in situation. I love how strong Selena acts, how hard she works, and the fact that she prides in her no-size-zero body. Shout out to the curvy girls, yeah!
Then there’s Dr. Colt Travers… Yeah, even his name is hot. He’s got blue eyes, the body, and the brains to back the name, too. His instant connection and constant tension with Selena was fun to watch throughout the book. Colt was also just an all-around good guy, which I absolutely love.
Overall, really cute story. The only thing I felt I was missing that I wanted was that I wanted to know who the leak was… although I have a pretty good guess. There were so many fun and sexy elements to this adorable romance though, and I loved it.
