So this past weekend, I attended ALAMW14. It also happened to be my first conference ever, and I was pretty nervous, but honestly now I have no idea why I was. It’s literally the best thing ever for book lovers. You get to see so many upcoming books, meet the publishers, network, meet and talk to tons of other bloggers and some authors, and of course there are freebies.
Overall, it was such an awesome experience and I’m really happy I went. I have to give a huge shout out to Hannah from Irish Banana, Jen from Jenuine Cupcakes, and Dee from Good Choice Reading who helped me through this whole process… I couldn’t have done it with out them!
Some pictures? Of course why not! I definitely didn’t take as many as I normally do though!
The lovely Lisa and Lauren from Harlequin!
(L to R: Lillie, Lisa, Me, Dee, Jenna, Lauren)
Katherine Tegen from HarperTeen! 🙂
(L to R: Trini, Dee, Katherine, Jenna, Me, Lillie)
All the amazing bloggers (and author!) I hung with at ALA 🙂
The awesome, hilarious author that I adore, AMALIE HOWARD signing Waterfell!
Myself holding Sweet Reckoning aka SO STOKEEEED.
(Photo creds: to the amazing Amalie)
And finally…. The book haul pictures.
Overall, amazing time! I loved every moment of it! I haven’t decided on any giveaways yet, though I’m sure I will! So sound off in the comments… what’s your favorite books you see here? Any you suggest I move to the top of my reading list?! Let me know! Heart you all!
