Synopsis: He’ll teach her how to bring a man to his knees…

Dr. Ellie Swan has a plan: open her practice in tiny Bluelick, Kentucky, so she can keep an eye on her diabetic father, and make hometown golden-boy Roger Reynolds fall in love with her. But Ellie has a problem. Roger seeks a skilled, sexually adventurous partner, and bookish Ellie doesn’t qualify.

Tyler Longfoot only cares about three things: shaking his bad boy image, qualifying for the loan his company needs to rehab a piece of Bluelick’s history, and convincing Ellie to keep quiet about the “incident” that lands him on her doorstep at two a.m. with a bullet in his behind.

The adorable Dr. Swan drives a mean bargain, though. If sex-on-a-stick Tyler will teach Ellie how to bring a man to his knees, she’ll forget about the bullet. Armed with The Wild Woman’s Guide to Sex and Tyler’s lessons, Ellie is confident she can become what Roger needs…if she doesn’t fall for Tyler first.

Sam was transfixed from an early age with any tale featuring a handsome prince, a great dress, and, of course, the all-important kiss, and eventually aspired to write her own happily-ever-afters. Naturally, she became a lawyer. The legal world heaved a sigh of relief a few years ago when Samanthe retired from law to take the plunge as a writer. When not living the glamorous life of a romance author (i.e., chained to her computer), Samanthe keeps busy with the care and feeding of her extremely patient prince-charming of a husband, a not-so-patient ball of energy known as their son, a furry ninja named Kitty, and Bebe, the trash talkin’ Chihuahua. Their love, support, and willingness to eat Pizza Hut three or more times a week enables Samanthe to pursue her literary dreams.

– Black or White?
Gray…and, trust me, there are WAY more than fifty shades!
– Tattoos or Piercings?
I’ll say tats, (although I only have piercings…and nothing that’s, like, soldered on).
– Mermaids or Unicorns?
I’d like the prescription that enables me to see mermaids riding unicorns, (Sadly, I think I have to go to Thailand to get it).
– Being Invisible or Being able to fly?
Invisible! Being able to fly is only half the skill. Being able to land would also be key.
– Going on a date: Bradley Cooper or Channing Tatum?
Um…Hubs hates it when I date. If I’m going to get in trouble, let’s make it worth my while and say both.
– Jeans or Sweatpants?
For him, jeans. For me, sweatpants.
– Sunrise or Sunset?
Sunset…although I have noticed the tendency for a really good sunset to lead to a sunrise.
– Paranormal or Contemporary?
Contemporary.
– $400 iTunes gift card or free Starbucks for a year?
Oh, boy…that’s a tough one. I run on Zuma Beach several times a week, so the iPod is crucial, but I’m addicted to Starbucks as well. I’ll say iTunes because I really should cut back on the coffee.
– Anything else you’d like to tell us?
Once, during my first year at UCLA, this guy on my dorm floor asked me if I wanted to…oh, wait…let’s talk about the book! My debut novel, Private Practice, launched recently from Entangled’s super-smexy Brazen line! If you like small town, funny, very sexy, contemporary romance, I hope you’ll like Private Practice!
The thing with Brazen titles is I can always expect a strong MC, a sexy fella, and an amazing story line. Private Practice totally covers that and more. It’s completely seductive with a strong female lead and a beyond sexy love interest and the story itself deals with hard work and difficult situations. Absolutely loved it!

  2. Thanks Charlene! I'm honored to be in your TBR pile, but I don't want to get in the way of your edits. I want my next installment of your Rich, Rugged Ranchers!
