Thoughts: My heart has exploded. Bursted into a million little shards. Tahereh Mafi’s writing just slays me from the beginning. I love the way she describes things… raw and emotionally. It’s impossible not to instantly get wrapped up in the story.  There are so many emotions pouring from my brain. My heart ruptured, repaired, and then intensely kept beating. Unravel Me is an exhilaration of emotions and I loved millisecond of it.

I can’t even… Just wow. These characters literally crawl into every corner of your body. Your heart wants to beat faster with them. Your brain wants to know what they’re hiding and where their thoughts are. I can’t get enough of them. Juliette, Adam, Warner, and Kenji truly shine in Unravel Me. They’re everything you could ask for in main characters and more.

But other than that there’s James, Castle, the healing twins: Sonya and Sarah, Brendan, Winston, and more! Tahereh beautifully created such a wide range of characters and each of them pull you in, in their own way. I loved every single one of them. Even the ones who you only know for a tiny while. Even the dark characters.

Tahereh Mafi, I applaud you for making me fall so head over heels with your brilliant writing. I can’t even begin to describe how many lines I quoted or fell in love with. How many parts my heart rate spiked or how many times my stomach plummeted. I loved every part of this sequel, so even the terrible parts were a win for me. This story is powerful, thrilling, chaotic, exciting, and filled with so much raw emotion. To say I’m dying for the third book would be an understatement. Unravel Me was absolutely perfect for me. And I’ll be watching the days fade away until I can finally tear open book three.
