Thoughts: Non-stop action, sexy, and one hell of a ride. I loved this story from beginning to end! Queen Of Swords is literally out of this world. Plus the book cover… It’s purely gorgeous!
We start off with Ophelia who, like her mother, is a Diviner. Unfortunately her mother has grave news, Ophelia is to be married to a monster. Since it is the Lady’s will, she will not fight it. But, when her escort turns out to be the sexy and infuriating Boone, who she just had one wild night with, this journey can only mean one thing: trouble. And Ophelia will find herself in situations she could have never imagined.
I loved this book! Plain and simple. The worlds that Katee created are beyond imaginative. They’re so futuristic, exciting and so diverse. Plus with Queen Of Swords, there is constant action, arguing, sex, witty remarks, and kick-ass characters. It’s one long thrill ride, and I’d warp into this world any time!
Katee puts so much strength into each of her characters. Ophelia isn’t one to take anything lying down and she doesn’t trust much but herself, her family, and the Lady.
There was one part towards the end where a certain character showed up and I think my jaw hit the floor. I was like WAIT. What the EFF? I love surprises like that, and I really hope Katee answers the huge question mark hanging over my head in future books! Overall though, if you enjoy tons of action, sexiness, characters who wittiness will have you begging for more, and ultimately one kick-ass story… this book is for you! Cannot wait for the next one!
