Review – The Rivaled Crown by Holly Renee

I swore I would never return to this palace. Never kneel before my father again.

But I have been dragged back into his gilded cage, trapped beneath his rule, and bound to a fate I had tried to escape.

The third and final in the series.

It is always so bittersweet when a series comes to an end. I loved Dacre and Verena so much. Daddy Dacre is daddy protective Dacre in this one and I was here for it. Plus, Verena really comes into her own.

I don’t like to spoil the last books of a series so a few small comments:

• Holly is a master at spicy scenes. Chef’s kiss. 😘
• The Micah and Kai tension had me giddy.
• I really liked the full circle of everything.

Overall, the end of a series is always so bittersweet but I really liked a lot of the reveals and where our characters ended up. Another amazing series from Holly Renee.
