After nearly eighteen months at Basgiath War College, Violet Sorrengail knows there’s no more time for lessons. No more time for uncertainty. Because the battle has truly begun, and with enemies closing in from outside their walls and within their ranks, it’s impossible to know who to trust.
Now Violet must journey beyond the failing Aretian wards to seek allies from unfamiliar lands to stand with Navarre. The trip will test every bit of her wit, luck, and strength, but she will do anything to save what she loves—her dragons, her family, her home, and him.
Even if it means keeping a secret so big, it could destroy everything. They need an army. They need power. They need magic. And they need the one thing only Violet can find—the truth. But a storm is coming…and not everyone can survive its wrath.

“I knew you wouldn’t mind. Being my precious toy. My girl. Mine to use. Mine to
fuck. Mine to destroy and to fix.”
Ali Hazlewood never lets me down. Her books are always filled with sexiness, STEM, and semi-quirkiness in the best way and Deep End is no exception. And this one was extra WHET if you know what I mean. 💦
I absolutely love how Lukas is so upfront and open about everything. He’s such an all-in type of guy. PLUS, he’s an intelligent, SWEDISH, Olympic swimmer… YES, PLEASE, and thank you. His relationship flows so easily with Scarlett, and I loved figuring it out with them both.
“The only time wasted is time we are apart.”
The diving and swimming rep was awesome to see. ANDDDD hellllloooo Adam and Olive cameo. Overall, I really loved Deep End and swam through it so quickly. So excited to see what Ali has up her sleeves next.
Also, shout out to this over because I absolutely love the colors, the tattoos, the nail polish… chef’s kiss. 💋
