After nearly eighteen months at Basgiath War College, Violet Sorrengail knows there’s no more time for lessons. No more time for uncertainty. Because the battle has truly begun, and with enemies closing in from outside their walls and within their ranks, it’s impossible to know who to trust.
Now Violet must journey beyond the failing Aretian wards to seek allies from unfamiliar lands to stand with Navarre. The trip will test every bit of her wit, luck, and strength, but she will do anything to save what she loves—her dragons, her family, her home, and him.
Even if it means keeping a secret so big, it could destroy everything. They need an army. They need power. They need magic. And they need the one thing only Violet can find—the truth. But a storm is coming…and not everyone can survive its wrath.

“I won’t give up a single day I have with you. Not without a fight.”
Ugh, THAT ending. I’m between “awww my gosh” and “OOH my gosh” but also WHAT THE HECK, Rebecca because there are multiple cliffhangers at the end. I feel like I’m dangling off all the cliffs of Tyrrendor with all the scattered pieces she left us.
With that being said, Onyx Storm is such an adventure, and all the different relationships we’ve gotten to know throughout the book make it perfection. This book also weaves tons of humor and without spoilers, I will say this was absolutely Ridoc’s book. He shined so hard in this installment.
“My control when it comes to you is an illusion.”
Onyx Storm is such an epic continuation of a series I am by far obsessed with. I absolutely adore the characters, the relationships, the dragons, the romance, the storyline, the world-building, and the way Rebecca makes my brain twist 18 ways before the book is done. If you like this series, Onyx Storm will not let you down. Andddd now we wait for book four….
