Review – See Me After Class by: Meghan Quinn

“Did you have relations with my brother . . .”

Good question.

I’d like to preface this by saying it was never my intention to ever get involved in a workplace romance, let alone get involved with the most surly, agitating, and pompous man I’ve ever met who just so happens to be my new friend’s brother.

My intentions were to show students how English and reading books could actually be fun and make a new life for myself in the suburbs of Chicago.

But so far, I’ve managed to be called into the principal’s office.

Coerced into participating in the teacher’s badminton league.

And instigated into passionate fights with Arlo Turner over education and decorum while losing my underwear at the same time.

Known as Mr. Turns Me On, he’s the reason I might get fired from my first ever teaching job.

“It doesn’t matter the genre, what matters is the escape. The appreciation for getting lost in words.”

Nothing I love more than a sexy, grumpy x sunshine, HEA with a hilarious cast of characters. See Me After Class gives us all of that and more and I truly could not get enough of these two steamily crashing together.

I admit, I felt a pull to this book before I even started reading due to myself being an educator. Greer Gibson did not let me down in the least. As our FMC who lands a prestigious English position, I loved watching her bring her classroom to life. Her personality radiates sunshine and trying to do what is best for not just students but for herself as well.

“I need to kiss you, Greer.”
“I need you to kiss me too,” I whisper.

On the other side our MMC, Arlo Turner, was nothing short of the broody teacher I adored rooting for. We do get dual POV in this book and I really enjoyed seeing through the thoughts of each Arlo and Greer. Arlo is rich, broody, and is tough with his students trying to set them up for success. I loved watching Greer break down his walls.

More than that, the setting, the friendships, the hilarious moments, the spicy moments and everything in between just set this book up for success. I adored reading this book and cannot wait to jump into Stella and Romeo’s book.
