Now his family has been imprisoned and will be executed if Ben doesn’t turn himself over within five days.

And when Janelle learns that someone she cares about—someone from her own world—has become one of the missing, she knows that she has to help Barclay, regardless of the danger. Now Janelle has five days to track down the real culprit. Five days to locate the missing people before they’re lost forever. Five days to reunite with the boy who stole her heart. But as the clues begin to add up, Janelle realizes that she’s in way over her head—and that she may not have known Ben as well as she thought. Can she uncover the truth before everyone she cares about is killed?

When I first read Unraveling, it instantly became one of my favorite books. I completely fell in love with the world and the concepts and the brilliant characters. Unbreakable absolutely in every way stood up to any expectations I had for the book. There were new factors I absolutely adored, parts where my heart completed ached, and overall yet another amazingly weaved, mind-blowing book from Elizabeth Norris.

I absolutely love Janelle Tenner. Definitely one of my top book girl crushes, hands down! She is the definition of bad ass. She never backs down from a challenge. She loves with her whole heart. She cares completely about her family. And, she always fights for what’s right. Janelle once again in Unbreakable gets thrown into a crazy mission. One she doesn’t take lightly because even though she needs to save Ben there is so much more going on and she fights it all with truth strength.

Oh Ben Michaels. I love how he’s so in love with Janelle. That every move he makes, that every time he fights is for Janelle. You instantly become to realize how important she actually is to him when it takes not his family being threatened to break him… but Janelle. Ben isn’t as perfect as I thought he was in Unraveling, but I still love him flaws and all. Ben’s best friend Elijah is also back and can I just tell you this kid says the absolute BEST lines. It’s always f-bomb this or taking a horrible situation and making everyone laugh about it. I love, love Elijah!

And, my final character I must talk about… Barclay. Let me just tell you all… Taylor Barclay is mine. No, I’m serious. I am. Any who, in Unraveling I was one of the people who looked past his arrogance and his smug attitude and I saw something I liked any way. I instantly thought he was good looking and underneath everything good. In Unbreakable, Elizabeth Norris, takes his character to a whole new level and I was absolutely stoked about it. We see so much more of Taylor and so much more of the person he is and what he’s capable of. I absolutely love him. And I’m not going to lie… Yes, I love Ben but I started to ship Barclay + Tenner in this one. Oh yes I did and I’m still slightly bent that he’s not on the cover! He totes deserves to be!

I still sit here and want this type of interverse travel to be real. Yet at the same time, seeing the terrifying thing that Elizabeth Norris did with it in Unbreakable, maybe I don’t want it to be real. It’s truly an amazing mind-screwing concept to think about. I cannot rave enough about this series. It still hold it’s place as one of my absolute favorite series. I love everything Unbreakable. If you’re considering starting this series… DO IT. If you’ve read Unraveling, well I highly doubt Unbreakable will let you down.

  1. Yes I'd travel to another dimension if I could. I know this may sound cliche or whatever, but I'd rather live anywhere than Earth right now. All the senseless killing, wars, prejudice, hate… it's just too much. That's why I read a lot. I imagine myself in the world of which I'm reading.

  2. I gotta say if given the chance I would go to another dimension. I was always hoping there'd be so many dimensions that are all different. So I've always hoped maybe there's a dimension better than our world where everyone cares and loves each other, where there's no hate or death or war or harm to anyone. I know that seems ridiculous but I dream that.

  3. Sci-fi is a new genre for me and I can't seem to stop picking up new books in this genre. I also love strong female characters. These books are definitely right up my ally!

  4. Also- multiple dimensions are interesting. They could be very similar to our dimension or extremely different. Personally, I would travel to a different one-hopefully one that's a bit nicer-to get away from the chaos that seems to be going on in this one.

  5. If you could travel to a parallel dimension would you? Why or why not? I think I would do it, but only if I knew I would be able to return to my home.
